We’re halfway through the Knave: Second Edition Kickstarter, and we’ve already hit half a million dollars! The outpouring of support from the Glatisant and Questing Beast communities has been incredibly heartwarming, and I couldn’t be more grateful to all of you for making this a reality. If you haven’t backed the book yet, you can do that by clicking the big button.
Since we launched, a number of YouTube channels have reviewed the book, including Dungeon Craft, WASD20, and Dungeon Masterpiece.
I also did an interview with EN World, which you can read here.
On the Questing Beast channel, I answer a question from a backer on how Knave 2e can be compatible with old-school DnD when its ability scores are on a 0-10 scale. The key is in how I broke down the underlying math of B/X DnD…
I’m also excited to announce that DC Stow’s cover for Summer’s End has come in! Summer's End is a zine full of system-neutral one-page dungeons and "adventure hexes" that's included in many of the Kickstarter tiers, or available as a Kickstarter add-on. The cover features the same randomly generated adventurers from the Maze Rats cover, as they encounter the mythical Summer Worm on a forested slope.
Thanks for reading! We’ll have another full-sized issue of the Glatisant with an OSR news round up coming in a couple of weeks.
